3-4 days then a fresh one. I had to break my wife of using a new one each shower when we first got together. Washing machine would have 100,000 miles in a year if we had to wash all that. But I hang it over the shower. On a hook I find it doesn't get as dry for next use.

This thread reappears at least annually. Half the responses are you wash your towel after every use, and the other half say several uses is acceptable if you hang it to dry. I'm on the hang for a 3-4 uses side.

I don't get this, or the laundry threads, I, like any self respecting OT baller, discard all towels and clothing after one use, anything method other than this is trashy

same, I like to think I keep the arse and balls drying end hanging down to remember for the next shower. But we all know the moment I pick it up off the floor and hang it, it’s a 50/50 guessing game

Can’t find it on YouTube, but there was a joke in the 90’s that every late night show and SNL all did.

“A recent survey of women showed they use a towel no more than once before washing.

The same survey was given to men, where the top answer was ‘until I can’t fold it anymore’.”

My husband absolutely refuses to reuse towels. I’d be okay with it, but go with single use now. If he sees a towel hanging to dry, he throws it in the hamper.

Considering there are four of us in the house and he regularly showers twice a day, I wash so many freaking towels every week.

No, I use them once then throw them away like a civilized person.

Grew up in a house where reusing a towel was never uttered to me as an option, so didn’t do it most of my life. Spoiled little shite I was, lol. Mom handled towels and never told me to reuse.

Moved out. Realized most people hang and reuse a couple times. And now I do the same.

Towels are fine to be reused until they start smelling moldy

That’s disgusting. Wash them way before they smell moldy

I've been known to re-use mine for a week but mostly 3 or 4 days.

I guess they all run around with unwashed, smelly asses? Or are they sticking their hands up there, raw dog style?

For a week, for sure. We do laundry on the weekend and they get washed.
