Do you require the help of someone else to wake in the morning?

Not talking about using an alarm clock, talking about needing a spouse, etc. to wake you up.

I do not. As I get older, I almost don't need an alarm clock anymore, either.

My teen-age kids cannot wake up without my daily "encouragement".

Millennials need not reply for either the obvious A) you don't have a job to wake up for, or B) your enabling mother will bring you breakfast in bed.

25 years old.

Used to be a late sleeper when I was in high school. Varied during college and grad school depending on my night prior.

Now if I don't have work (6 am wake up) I'm up within 10 minutes of 8 am most days. I'll sleep in only if I stayed up absurdly late the night before.

I pretty much wake up at the same time every morning 5-5:30. I have a friend who's "ex" wife at 35 years old still requires her mother to call her every morning in order to get up on time, and she has two kids of her own. I don't understand useless people

If I have school or work, I get up on my own. I'm not always happy about it, but you gotta handle your shite. If it's a day off and my lady wants to go get cinnabons or something, it might take a good amount of coaxing.

I don't even set an alarm and wide awake by 5am every morning. I will be 37 years old tomorrow. This behavior started about 7 years ago, fwiw.

Eyes open at 4:30 am every morning 7 days a week. Piss, wash face and hands ( in case I piss on hand) brush hair, contacts in, pour first cup of coffee at 4:36' watch news.

Since 1990 with no alarms or wife waking me up. She is up 30 minutes before me or 30 minutes after me again since 1990.

I'm 26 and it's usually around 7 on my off days. I just wake up and can't go back to sleep, unless I was out late the night before.

You're enabling them by going and waking them up.

I know a guy who used to drag every morning in high school, especially Sundays. One day his mom and dad let him sleep until 5 seconds before they left for church and woke him up and made him go to church in his pajamas. In front of all his friends. He woke up without any help after that.
