I used to pitch, until I got a ball drove back at me and missed the boys by about 2 inches. From that point on i said screw this I am DH. Played off and on until I got married.

Funnest tournament team I played on partnered a bunch of the players with their dads who played when they were younger. I knew we were screwed when one dad walked up to the plate with leather work gloves on as batting gloves. By the afternoon we had folks so drunk they could barely walk in the outfield.

Been playing in a spring/summer church league for 8 yrs. Play overhand with an arc. Play SS, but i prefer the OF. They play me at SS since i can cover the area. Not a power hitter but a good contact hitter.

Played at LaSalle for a couple seasons in mens overhand. Played in an underhand league this past fall, that shite took me a while to get used to after playing nothing but overhand.

I am the MVP of OTMAC for the last seven years. Currently using a rolled or hot bat.

Batting .557 this year and drink 2 cases of beer every Tuesday night during the game.

My wife is an OTMAC sweetheart the last two years.

And I still take on the first pitch.

I'm sure I played against you or your friend. I played competitive for ten years and just got out of it a few years ago.

One of the dumbest things I've ever heard is a team hitting so many HR they deducted runs...because they couldn't stop hitting HRs

I still play for fun. Got back into it a few years ago. Got talked into playing second base two seasons ago.

No one else on the team wanted to so me and one other guy would rotate. About 7 games in I found out why nobody else wanted to when the former LSU player at SS smoked me in the face from about 3 feet away trying to turn a double play.

Even worse the young med student working the ER at LOL did a shitastic job of stitching my eye up.

I wear jersey #69 and play RF and always take the first pitch in hopes to be walked.

My hometown (and all the towns around it) host softball a tournament in the summer. My friends play every year. They're wearing cutoffs and gym shorts and drinking a lot of beer.

These teams of factory workers come from five hours away wearing full affliction esque uniforms and don't drink any alcohol all day. It's hilarious.

I use to play for four years in a coed league. A couple of girls on our team would be a no show every game. I would walk from field to field asking random females in the stands if they wanted to play in our softball game in a 15 minutes because we are short a few females. It got old quick.

Years ago I played in an all guy league in New Orleans which was way better.

I play all over. Can’t get enough of it. Had to have shoulder surgery in high school which costs me my shot at the Bigs. I know it’s just softball to some, but I play every game like it’s my last. Leave everything on the field, every day...you never know when it’ll be taken away.

I got roped in to some slow pitch softball when I got trough playing baseball. They put me in a HR derby one year and I completely whiffed on half my pitches. Never hit one close to out. So I never persued the slow pitch scene and stuck with playing golf.

If you are really the OTMAC MVP then you played against him in the BRAAS OTMAC Challenge last year. The year before that he split my wig

I would love to join a league for weekend fun, but too many people take it too seriously. It doesn’t seem fun like that.

yeah those guys are pretty hilarious i obi exactly what your talking about our tournament team is made up of coaches and ex college ball players that want something to do on tge weekends. All mid 20s but dont take ourselves tpo seriously. Usually we win our first 3 or 4 easily and end up getting shitfaced waiting on the final or winners bracket final and getting double dipped i think weve got 2 or 3rd 4 times this year because of that. So id say we're good but definetely not try hards. Just buddies that like to hangout
