I own two and my son, my wife and myself were very thankful I carried them with us to the Houston zoo a few weeks ago when a deluge came down on us out of nowhere.

We were 1 of maybe 5 families that we saw with umbrellas. There's surprisingly few places to take refuge at the Houston zoo.

I was born and raised in south Louisiana and everyone I know has an umbrella. We also don't ride in Pirogue to commute and we do use toothbrushes.

WHAT KIND OF A fig USES AN UMBRELLA?

I have one in my office, one in my car, plenty at home.

And yeah, I had a dude-bro friend of mine give me shite for walking into a restaurant with an umbrella. "Afraid you'll get wet Mary Poppins?"

Yes. Suits have been drenched on the way to meetings too many times to not carry and umbrella all because someone like you are going to judge me.

I have one on my golf bag that I almost never use. When I was in La. I had one and used it all the time. But I walked a lot more in those days and you could count on an afternoon thunderstorm just about every day.

my wife has a ton of them and keeps them in her car. I do not keep one in my truck but have some rain jackets in there. Everytime it rains and we are in my truck my wife bitches about not having an umbrella. She will ask why not and I tell it is because I have a penis and wont melt if I get wet.

You sound like one hard mother fricker for not having an umbrella. I hope I'm as tough as you one day.

They seem like a bigger hassle than they are worth. I'd rather just get to my car in the rain then have a wet tent to lug around, dry out and keep track of when I get to where I'm going.

People look like they get more wet trying to close that thing when they get to their car then I do just jumping in.

Usually the case 90% of the time. The only umbrella I use is the one by the pool to shade the sun. We have a couple at the house but I have no idea where they are and haven't used one in 20 years.

I carry one in my truck in case I need it. When going to stores I tend to park in a less occupied spot on the lot to try to ward of as many dings as possible on my vehicle, so they come in handy at times.

If on my motorcycle and it's raining, I usually will have on my rain gear, so no need.

I’ve always heard you have to suck a cock to get your umbrella to open.
