I carry one every day. it has nothing to do with being a man for me. My knife is a tool not a weapon, and it gets used all the time. I did have one time when I was at a crawfish boil, and they needed a knife to open the sack. So I hand them my knife, and this one non-heterosexual said "you can always tell a real man by the knife in his pocket" I lost it.

What in the world do yal use knives for on a daily basis? I guess I could see if it you worked in a blue-collar environment, but yal are really packing a pocket knife in your slacks at the office?
I can't even think of the last time I needed a knife or a tool and I wasn't close enough to my toolbox at home or in my car or I didn't have scissors or something at work. Seems like a giant waste of something to carry, and I hate carrying shite.

carry one every day. I use it daily. I work inside office environment and still use it. But mos t use comes at home. Open boxes, pry stuff, I cut stuff if Im grilling (my meats, the kids wont eat what my knife touched), I use it every single day.
I tell my little girl all the time, If you had a knife you wouldn't be asking me to do that for you
I thought all men carried knives. I guess the kids today don't for some reason. Maybe scarred, don't know how to use one, or just rather ask for someone with a knife to do the task at hand.

I carry a medium sized Gerber but I'm about to get a leatherman from a friend.

I carry a pocket knife all the time. Prefer the Spyderco folders.
Every time I turn around one of the non knife carriers is asking to borrow mine.

My office has a no blades over 3" rule, so I found one with a 2.75" blade.

My grandad gave me his old Case Yellow trapper in 1985. It was old and had some rust. I carry it daily and is easily my favorite knife.

I carry a pocket knife daily not to feel manly. It's just a useful tool to have.

I hate anything in my pockets other than my wallet in left back. Keys go in my jacket pocket if it's winter, or just on my desk at work if it's summer. Phone is in my pocket when I'm walking, out on the table or what ever when I'm sitting.
That being said, I have two small multi-tools in my laptop bag that I use more than I can count. The only time I make sure to have a lock blade style knife on me is when I'm doing out doors stuff or boiling crawfish.
That guy with the mints, tylenol, kitchen sink in his pockets, Jesus man how do you even sit down? Do you rattle when you walk? What kinds of pants are you wearing, cargos?

I carry a letherman anytime i have pants on.
I use the pliers on it more than anything else.
I can open bottles with it as well and the knife is sharp as hell on it. Also has a screw driver on it.
For the amount of things that I can do with it, you'd think it would be bigger, but it's really just the size of a bigger pocket knife.

I do not carry a knife. It's hard enough keeping track of my keys, phones and wallet

Either my Spyderco Native 5 or H&K Soldat (Benchmade) is always in my pocket
