I doubt they were running up to a guy driving a Prius with Hillary stickers to show off their knives.

Not true dude. It's a tool. Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't need it, so be it. Let it go.

Been looking at getting a whittling knife. So I can carve top water lures when bored.

Fish, I know you're retired and still kicking it like a boss.

How many times do you use your pocketknife a day?

I don't carry one in my pocket mainly because I don't like anything in my pocket. My key ring has truck key and house key only.

In my truck I have 6 knives and 3 other key rings as well as a Super Black Eagle II and a Colt 1911 45 and a stream light.

I also have black gloves and rope but now it sounds creepy.

I don't go far from my truck.

No, but they had their leather holster on their belt (all of them), and even with their shirts until tucked, they made sure to pull it up over the knife. They were probably 15, so it's just kids being kids. But it's definitely a stereotypical country thing to do.

I have nothing against having a knife. I seriously think the I'm a man, so of course I have one, and the a man without a knife should wear a dress comments are comical. That's what I'm referring to. I've got friends who will have a Leatherman on them 100% of the time. I'm used to it. I just think people overestimate how important it is to carry. 95% of males get by everyday without a knife in their pocket. Not against having one, but you certainly aren't some sissy boy if you don't.

Carry a pocket knife and a small crescent wrench about the same size as the knife. Use both of them quite a bit

I have been carrying a pocket knife since high school. It feels like I dressed incorrectly if I don't have one in my pocket. I carry a three blade Case that was given to me years ago by my wife.

ETA; A knife is a useful tool, just like a gun. It is no better or worse than the person using it.

All this back and forth about knives, and no one has questioned carrying a bunch of change in your pocket?

Change, bills, pocket knife right pocket. Mints, eyeglass cleaners, couple Tylenol left pocket. Keys on a lanyard hang out of the back pocket. Wallet, back right pocket.

Yes.

Well, except that I hardly ever carry change.

Cell phone, keys, wallet, knife, pen, work ID if I'm going to/from the office.

Used to carry one, but now it's not allowed in my workplace building. They don't realize what I have in my desk though.

Yes I do. I hate taking it off my keychain for flights. I've had to throw several away over the years. Are there any that are allowed?
