My first thought is to say no it doesn't affect it, but I guess it kinda does. Not a product necessarily though, for example I'm a big fan of Slipknot, Stone Sour, & Corey Taylor in general. I started following Corey on the tweeter and he is such a whiney liberal nutbag douche I can't hardly listen to him any more.

I try to avoid doing business with certain corporations because of some of their actions, yes. Walmart, Amazon, big banks mainly. Amazon is almost impossible given their reach, but I rarely order from them and cancelled my Prime membership a couple of years ago.
I walked out of a local business a few months ago when the owner started talking to me while wearing a MAGA hat. Petty, but I didn't really care for the thinly veiled racist comments he was making.

I guess it all depends. If there is a similar option that is just as convenient, I guess I may do a personal boycott.
On a side note, its been interesting watching company's like Dick's take an asswhooping from their actions that anger their customer base.

It’s funny how the nature of the beliefs have such a dramatic affect on how they are held accountable.
My favorite is Chick-fil-A. I’ve yet to see where Truett Cathy has said anything derogatory about gay people other than he doesn’t personally support gay marriage. I’ve been to CFAs and been served by people of all walks of life and yet they are always happy and helpful, including some I’m relatively certain fall within that group. Yet he’s always the first name brought up in these threads.

No, I’m not a bitch arse snowflake. I don’t define people or companies by their political beliefs. If you provide a good product, I don’t let your feelings on political matters influence my decision to purchase your goods or services. Too many people want to define others by their political beliefs. And if you define yourself by that, I probably don’t want to be around you.

Nah, they’re untitled to their opinion just like I am. I may not agree but if you make a quality product, I’ll buy it.

What if that same company uses the money it receives from people like you to actively lobby government to outlaw an activity you enjoy or a cause you believe in? Or donate that money to politicians who actively want to outlaw something you do?

I won’t be purchasing any more Benchmade knives after they were caught helping local PD destroy guns. An activity they wanted to keep secret BTW.
