My Uncle... he had a real arm. He could have gone on to win the high school football champonships and gone to the University of Idaho to win the BCS Championship.I reckon he could throw a football over some mountains.

Now he’s selling breast enhancement products door-to-door out of his van.

Seriously, there is serious discussion going on in here.. So you go out of your way to post the same bullshite that is posted all the time.

The shite you post to me doesn't bother me at all. If it did I would not longer poster here, but it does make you look simple.

If you are lucky, OWL might befriend you and the two of you can make the same basic "jokes" over and over again.. And if that makes you feel good about yourself then I am glad I can help.. But you are like a gnat.

No matter what is going on, you come around with the same noise and do nothing more than be aggravating.

I should be an airline pilot by now but have always squandered opportunities to begin flying in the past. And now I finally have the drive, knowledge, and support to do it but stuck waiting on Uncle Sam to give me medical clearance.

Louisiana has wasted more talent than anyone/anything else, ever.

Access to waterways such as the Mississippi River and G of M, presenting unprecedented trade routes

Oil rich, timber rich, seafood rich, has plenty of farmable land, huge ports, etc

What has Louisiana done with all this? Absolutely nothing. Dead last in quality of life consistently and ranks poorly in almost every measurable category.

What’s wrong with your songwriting? Good singers don’t need to be good songwriters...they just need to have good songwriters

Me. I’m great at the visual arts but haven’t used the talent in over a decade. Every now and then I’ll draw something and the talent is definitely still there but I just lost interest in it,

You should do karaoke. Find some songs you really kill at and use that energy, no fear. At the very least you won’t be the worst that night.

I love it. The rush, the crowd, the energy. And every time I think of where I could have pushed more but the women love it.

The best way to overcome fear is to face it.

Find someone who enjoys playing music. There are people out there who enjoys playing music in their free time.

I try. Looking for it seems hollow. I want something organic. Fate. Someone who can play, and I provide the songs.

That’s what I wanted to do when I was younger...but then I got told that there wasn’t any future in it. So I became practical and got “real jobs” and let the dream fall to the wayside, as it pertained to music.

Never stopped writing though. Song after song after song and they just wouldn’t leave me be until I wrote them down.

And so I get them out and they sit. Waiting for fate.

Or death. One or the other

Both of my old guitar players and first drummer.

One is dead and two are in prison.

Myself.

No bragging.

Drank too much in my first years of college and wasted a few gifts.

I know a kid out of plaquemine high who had a legit high 90s fastball and a few other pitches. Got his old lady pregnant and wasted it.

Another was pushing 300lbs and still ran a sub 5 40.

Know a few kids out of St John who ran laser timed sub 4.6 40s. One white kid in the 4.4s

They did nothing with it. Sad.

Dated a former d1 girls soccer player post divorce... Drank her scholarship away and now works a minimum wage job.

shite happens.

Bothered and aggravated you enough that you replied to the same post twice, telling me you wished I would kill myself and then following it up with a lecture

Everyone wastes talent of some kind. Our educational system and occupational machine pretty much funnels everyone into the same channels and our true talents are rarely pursued. We are machines for making money

Had a nephew on my wife’s side. That was 6’8” 300 plus offensive tackle, big as a tank and almost as smart. Urban Meyer was still at Florida at the time and wanted him to come play for the gators but his grades were really bad. Urban set him up to play at a JC in Mississippi along with a tutor. Meyer was really excited about him but our nephew didn’t want any part of it... he’s a welder now
