Wife wants me to go, but I've never even met her friend's husband. He didn't come with his wife to our 1 year old's birthday party

You need TD to help you make all your minor decisions for you?

I tend not to keep a scorecard on things like that.

If easy, convenient and she’s going to appreciate it- definitely. If I’d be missing something that I’m needing to do, probably not.

Blue pill guys go to the birthday party. Then they come home and do the dishes in the sink and spend the evening pouting wondering why their wives don’t initiate sex.

Will there be adult beverages?

Do you have anything else to do?

Do you enjoy hanging out with your wife and kid?

I got roped into going to one of these last week. One of the most awkward experiences imaginable. Avoid if at all possible.

I have before and other husbands were there as well. I don’t miss an opportunity to watch my kid enjoy himself even though it may be boring for you.

If it's a kids 1st birthday, then yeah. These are usually a bigger deal. Plus there's almost always beer/mimosas, etc (unless you have shitty friends).

Subsequent kids birthdays - no. Just one parent goes.

Sometimes.

Sometimes not.

Just depends on if I'm busy and if I know the people and/or the party sounds like it could be fun

Pfft, does your wife like you to look back at her while she's pegging you?

My wife would find it unnecessary for us both to go to a birthday. If it's a friend's kid, I would go, but not for her friend who I don't know.

Hell, she just called and told me she got us out of going to her cousin's 3 year old's party on Sunday. I love that girl.

I went to one one time although I didn’t want to go. I was the only male there. My wife looked at me and said “I’ll never ask you to go to another one of these”. So me suffering through one led me to not go to anymore

Did you know this isn't a thing outside of Louisiana?

Wtf

At least provide a man some refreshment.

The opposite of this guy is sitting on a boat drinking a beer while his wife is trolling Facebook for dong saying her husband ignores her and doesn't appreciate her.
