Yes I get dreams about having a test for a class that I haven’t been to in weeks or that I forgot I was enrolled in.
I also get dreams about missing 2 weeks of high school basketball practice and showing up 1 or 2 days before a game and getting benched
All things I’ve never done

Less lately, but usually either
1) Didn't go to class all semester, unprepared for exam. This is based on real life. I did this twice to the same professor, including the second time where I showed up to the prep session (unique to this prof) and the class had voted to take the exam early. So I had to beg the same professor I'd bailed on previously to let me do something to make it up. Thankfully it was like a 50 point curve because he taught Federal Indian Lands Law to undergrads so I got a B anyway.
2) Similar to 1), but I'm graduating and worried that I'm going to derail an otherwise blemish-free college career by failing multiple classes in the last semester.

Yikes, so based on the responses so far, these shitty dreams will linger for rest of my life

I used to have a reoccurring dream about a class I forgot I was taking then showed up for the first time only to find out if was the final exam. In the dream I felt like my whole life depended on it.

It’s been over 35 years since I graduated and I still get those dreams occasionally.

I get that one.
I also get the dream that, no matter how hard I try, I can’t make it to the final exam due to a multi-level obstacle course of impeding events (flat tire, natural disaster that only hits my college apartment complex, people trying to stop me for various reasons unrelated to the exam like to chat while I’m frantically trying to make it—think Ned Ryerson from Groundhog Day, etc.). It’s sooo frustrating.
All of my dreams are anxiety-related (teeth, tornadoes, alligators, snakes, etc.). I envy people who have just normal, good dreams. Not fair.

I have nightmares of being bald

They almost always take the form of be blowing off a class the entire semester and then taking the exam with zero idea how to do any of the work
This was close to a year ago, and I haven't had a dream like this since. Although, I do still get the recurring dream where I'm stuck in my high school pool locker room before swim practice, unable to remember my locker combination

I still have these dreams, and I haven't been in college since 2004. They definitely aren't as frequent as they used to be, but they still pop up every now and then.
Best feeling ever though is that huge wave of relief when you wake up and after a few seconds realize that you're an adult and college was ages ago.

You described my recurring nightmare perfectly. Happens at least once a year I'd say.

Yep all the time.
Sometimes I have gone back for a masters, and forgot to attend a certain class all semester.
Sometimes they have somehow determined that I need to retake my math classes or else they'll revoke my degree.

I lived this. One semester I thought I was smart enough to get by without class. That led to more drinking and partying. Was a situation where if I aced the final, I could still pass the classes. I showed up to take the final for physics and math.....wrong room for both. Literally handed a test that had nothing to do with what I was expecting. I didn't know what my classmates looked like, so I didn't know until I got the exam. I passed nothing but a lab that semester.

Amazingly I had a dream last night about not going to classes for the semester and it being too late to get a W. I’m 40 now and have been having versions of this dream since college.

Wow I thought I was in a minority with this one, I used to have it frequently in my 30s and still occasionally in my 40s

It's funny, for the first decade or so I'd always wake up before I had any resolution
Lately, kinda like this, there is some point at the end where I'm like "you graduated a long time ago so this class doesn't mean anything"

Yep...
Mine always ends with me trying to figure out what I am gonna do. The final exam and deadline for course work is coming and I am unprepared for both.
Typical dream for people who are worried about the future (sub consciously).

I graduated LSU in 2000, and I still occasionally have these dreams.
