They are not asking for advice, but you know they need it.

Health/Fitness board. Really though we actually have one now.
But to answer your question: No, everyone probably likes to be left alone. If they care enough, they'll do research and make adjustments themselves.

Not unsolicited. Best case scenario is you will look like a douche.

Nope unless they're immediately about to injury themselves.

Unless you are a certified personal trainer (or Sabidojo), and you use it as an opening for a free session, it's a douche bag move.

Only if they're about to seriously hurt themselves or someone near them

Yeah bro, you need a spot?

Nah, it just makes you look like a douche.
It's much more diplomatic to just blurt out something like "Wow, not only is he a pussy but he's stupid, too!"
He'll get the message without potentially feeling embarrassed.

This. Unless I really feel they will kill themselves.
Especially a woman. Which is bad. But you look like a double douche. Look like a know it all or the gym horn-ball.

If they are close to hurting themselves, yes.

Yeah, good path. Just keep it in, unless it is too bad.

had some 1/4 squatter try and give me form advice one time. god damn that was annoying...and based on that one interaction I'll never off unsolicited advice to anyone.

There are so many people with bad form, but no. It used to really bother me and I thought about helping them out, but figured I'd end up being the dick somehow even thought it was for their benefit. Now it doesn't bother me and I just laugh to myself.

The judge had to ensure she knew he wasn't counting that one before he went to help her.
