No but I do carry a check. Its come in handy more times than you can imagine. Get stuck out in the country somewhere and all they accept is cash or checks.

Same. $5 in the glove compartment. 2 gallons of gas should get me wherever... hopefully

Only time I try to carry cash is on bike rides. If When out on rural roads, I don't know what situation I may get in. May catch more flats than I have extra tubes for that day and have to bum one off of someone else in the group. Like to have cash to pay them for that.

dad always told me to keep a hundo under the sole of my shoe. Still have one in each pair of my shoes that I normally wear.

I wouldn't call it emergency cash, but I carry a silver dollar in my wallet...
my mother gave it to me the day I enlisted (far longer ago now that I like to admit), and she was right...it may have been the only money I had, but I was never broke...

Any cash in my wallet disappears magically at my house without anyone taking it. So no I very rarely carry cash.

I keep a few hundred dollar bills in my wallet for emergency use.
I've had the same ones in there for years.
I have a friend who's a junker/hoarder who's always looking to add to his collection of oddities. He keeps $10K stashed in his truck in case he runs across a deal on a big ticket item.

It look me the longest time to learn not to spend it. I'd be at a bar or something with no cash and not wanting to start a tab and I'd pull out that hundred and spend it.
Hundreds are hard to come by at 27, so it took me awhile (maybe a holiday) to acquire another one. I've finally learned to not spend it, but I think that's because I usually forget it's there.

Carry cash in pocket, none in my wallet. I do have couple of 20s in my truck and same in my car. Keep a debit card handy though if I need more.
