I keep $120 under the insoles of all of my shoes. So I am never without $240 except on the beach. Unnecessary, but I do it anyhow.

I changed wallets recently and found two hundred dollar bills that I forgot I put in my wallet. Id bet they were there for at least 5 years.
So I don't keep emergency cash in my wallet anymore.

I always carry 4 20's. Sometimes places won't take a bill larger than a 20. My Dad taught me this years ago. Still do it today.
