We have one in the morning. It’s kinda cool. Everyone dresses up in their red, white, and blue. Kids bikes and strollers are decorated

The part of the 4th that i truly love the most is when all the crying on social media begins that evening about people’s dogs and kids freaking out over fireworks.

I truly look forward to the 4th and New Years every year just specifically because of this.

I sit and read that stuff and laugh.

If you have a "neighborhood" parade, who actually watches it?

Honestly sounds patriotic as frick. I’m a little jealous.

Who is there to watch, or is it more about participating?

My town has a boat parade, 4th of July activities and fireworks... But I don't know of any neighborhood that has a parade.

Small town here. We have a parade that goes around the square, a trashy carnival and a pretty good fireworks show.

Tonight a smaller community nearby is expecting 40,000+ ppl for their show. It's one of the best in the state. The town is only 2,268 population. Still deciding on if I want to go and deal with the traffic. Last year we parked on a country road and sat in the back of my truck. I think they aren't allowing that this year, so I really don't want to get stuck with that mess.

There is one near me in the Kingwood area of Houston. I have never been. No need to see folks waiving in the AM. I like parades where it’s acceptable to have multiple beverages. It’s cool for them though.

I do enjoy the fireworks and everything else that goes along with the 4th.

I went to the Kingwood parade one year. Had a nice smalltown feel, which Kingwood doesn't always have.

Me and the neighborhood boys play baseball in the open lot under the fireworks. It’s the only night a year we can play

Fire truck comes and leads a hundred of so kids on their bikes from the swim club around a four block loop. Kids and bikes all dressed up so it's kind of cool for them.

Arlington always has a parade early in the morning in the old downtown area. I always felt like it was beating to get dragged to it but always had fun. swamp arse everywhere
