Oh I agree, I was just mentioning that feature. It helps when backing out of the garage for sure.

Gotcha, and I agree.

Hell, I used to back into my garage at home partially because of having the backup camera to easily know when to stop, but that's taking backing up a bit far.

I technically did it because the right side of the garage had stuff in it, and I don't like parking on the left side with little room to open my door to get out as I have a small garage. Once I made space shortly after we bought the home, i started parking on the right side of the garage and stopped acting like a fool backing into the garage.

I always back in. Much less likely to hit someone when leaving.

At and old company I worked at everyone that drove a truck backed in which was totally unnecessary because there was only 1 row of spots. New weird guy starts that drives a Ford Ranger and started backing in as well. So yeah people that back in when its not any more convenient annoy me.

Yea, that's another reason why I'll always do it, especially in busy places like grocery stores.

I'm always paranoid I'm going to run over some poor 3 year old kid whose mother doesn't have a good handle on him.

Situational, but when I do I at least try and do it right. I see drivers all the time that back it in and park like shite on or over the line.

Could you go forward when you leave, is that what you mean?

If so, that makes no sense.

Considering only your front wheels turning it's much easier to back in a spot than out of a spot.

If it's at Kroger or a really busy parking lot, I don't back in because someone would probably pull right on my arse or just steal my spot altogether.

Also, science has proven that people who back in are more successful. Delayed gratification and all that shite.

The people who hold up traffic to back in are the same ones who use their flashers while it's raining. Fact.

how much time do you lose waiting on them? Seriously.

I've owned 4 full size trucks and never backed into a parking spot unless I was loading / unloading something. What do you find difficult about parking forward?

The parking part.

My everyday vehicle is actually a Chevy sedan, but I back it in just the same as anything else.

I try to put the line in the center of my vehicle taking up 2 spots. Thats about as safe as you can get.

I do that in the handicap spot with my California Lean truck.

Saw a Wounded Warrior parking spot at Home Depot today.

It adds up. 5-days a week morning commute in a multi story parking garage with several hundred cars all arriving at nearly the same time in ATL. Stop and go car caravan. I'm not referring to the guy backing in at a restaurant on a Friday night.

First option is to combat park (pull through the other side). If not, I back in. Rarely do I park with the front into the spot.

So on the slanted parking spots how do you back into those? Drive past it like parallel parking and bust a U in reverse? Or drive the wrong way down a one way to back it in?
