I will add, to know your friends who tell their spouse everything. It may help decide whether you want to hang with them.
Does my wife need to know every detail, from a guys golf trip, of who got drunk, what they drank and anything else I can think of?
Usually the guys that tell on others are pussies. Just trying to prove to their spouse how great they are. There are a ton of pussies out there.

Nope. I do not. Let’s be honest.

I don’t tell my wife everything I hear, but we discuss most things.

My parents barely communicate with each other but will tell me and my siblings everything. When one of us mentions it to the other parent, it's like breaking news . I don't know how they operate that way because my wife and I tell each other everything. Probably too much

Q: Do you talk to your wife during sex?

A: No, I usually don't even know where my phone is when I am having sex.

We discuss everything albeit in vastly different ways. I tend to discuss things a-b. She’s more a2, b4, back to a1, b12, b1, a17, etc.

My job is to make her a worry free about my duties and responsibilities so that she can focus 100% of her efforts on the nurturing of the family from the interior.

Don't bother her with the HELOC you have to take out to send junior to college because she blew tens of thousands of dollars a year on dance and coffee, you bear that stress, bro.

You have to be transparent. It's not to worry them, it's to give them perspective. You're not asking her to deal with it, but describing why getting a new SUV maybe could wait another year.

Wife and I do as well. Never thought about it in those terms but I really like that and would seem to be a very healthy way to approach your relationship. May have to steel that one from you and use on my son and son in law. Thanks Beessnax.

Only when we’ve been drinking. Fortunately, we’re both alcoholics so it works out nicely.
