Daylight Savings needs to go away. This is dumb.

Nah. Go ahead and skip it brah.

Every year there is a big jump in the number of heart attacks and strokes after the time switch because we frick up everyone’s circadian rhythms for no reason
If only we could get the liberals focused on saving those daylight savings time deaths like they do for COVID it would be over. Greta Thunberg would be wearing a Flavor Flav clock around her neck in protest
If it saves one life

I just want time after work to take my kid for a bike ride.

Because I get up like an adult at 5am every morning and its the same amount of daylight per day irrespective of "savings time".
You probably go to bed at 8:30 like a 4 year old though

I don't remember it ever not happening on Halloween weekend, but apparently it happens next week.
It happened on November 6 in 2016.

Arizona doesn’t participate. I say it slowly starts eastward. By the time it gets to Texas, plenty of other states will be on board.

Arizona has year round standard time. Meaning Arizona has perpetually fallen back.

Do you work a full day?
There is nothing worse than getting home from work and it’s dark. You feel like you literally worked the entire day and it’s already bedtime and you are going to get up and do the same thing tomorrow.
I enjoy the "atmosphere" of nighttime, just because it's dark outside that doesn't mean that I can't be outside
And, it's much easier for me to wake up in the morning if the sun is up. It doesn't matter how many hours of sleep I get, if I wake up when it's dark outside, I'm going to be tired as shite.
I work from home, and have a ton of natural sunlight in the room that I work in. Also, if I need to go outside during the day and work from my backyard or front porch I can do that.
frick daylight savings time.

We need to fall back and stay there, forever.
I'm with you. I could do DST from Memorial Day to Labor Day but that's it. In winter days are shorter it's always been that way. For the people that complain about it getting dark early, well it sucks it's still dark at 7:15 in the morning. Kids trick or treating in daylight and Christmas Eve service while it's still daylight, no thanks.

I would like to do away w DST all together. Its outdated and messes with the large part of society. I wish the rest of the US was more like Arizona!

Tell me you aren’t up or outside at 7am without saying so.
First light is at 06:30 (approximately). It is not dark at 07:00. If you were outside, you’d know this.
Tell me you aren’t one of those guys who tells everyone how early he gets up without saying so. Nobody gives a frick. When my kids get on the bus at 6:50 it’s still fricking dark and only getting worse, you know because you took 2nd grade science.

I always just split the difference and leave my clocks set in the middle. I figure 30 minutes one way or the other won't kill me.
If the boss complains about me being late, I just say that I'm early half the year.

But it’s not dark at 06:50. Not by a long shot. At least here in the BR metro. You people act like it’s pitch black outside and it isn’t.

It was absolutely dark in SWLA this morning at that time.

I've always viewed those that prefer standard time as fatties that don't do anything outside after work. They either go home and sit on their asses in front of the TV, or out to a bar and drink their lives away.
This is the OT. I ran a half marathon and rebuilt a transmission after work today.

It is indeed retarded to continue this day light savings nonsense (saves no energy and highest rates of heart attacks on this date)... Arizona doesn't participate in it I believe
