First of all I can’t believe I read all 17 pages, and it was very interesting. I am not sure how emotionally involved you are, but it sounds like you are trying to keep some distance.
What about looking for a FWB, if this situation is transactional? You might find someone else Ana not have the overhead.
I think a big part of this, which you admitted is her company. You enjoy the fact that she is financially dependent on you and you are “rescuing” her from her/her family’s financial situation. You enjoy being considered a mentor to her, because her peers don’t have the life experience of person in their forties. When she tells you how much she likes your mentoring it makes you feel good.
Your trying to portray this as just but really enjoy how she makes you feel. Hope this ends well for you, and your “friend”.

I just don’t feel like it’s my place to force my morality on someone else and their consensual arrangement.
A few years ago I knew a coworker who did something similar. He was in his early 50s and had lost his wife of 30 years to cancer. He had never been with someone else either. He missed the companionship and sex but didn’t want to be in a relationship. Eventually he ended it and is seeing someone in an actual relationship.
