My cousin that brought me home from the hospital last night said he had the option of wfh or driving in. He likes working the office with everything he needs handy so it’s a tough decision. Plus, his wife fell on the driveway so complicates the decision.

My office is tucked away next to the garage. Totally removed from any activity in the house.

Don't get me wrong when the kid loses their shite in the kitchen on the other side of the wall I hear it, but it's minimal disturbance.

If someone had an office in the middle of the house around all of the commotion is would be pretty bad though.

No, not at all the situation. More like people don't work and do personal errands and goof off.

We are a 100% remote company scattered across the entire world. We don't even have an office, and we closed the year just shy of 20MM in revenue.

You don't live in the technologically advanced world.

We do hybrid schedule, based on the weather outside. Guessing we are WFH this week

Yep, that. Some form of that, all day.

I ended up taking a good bit of time off work so I could get my office done so I could work.

Strict WFH is depressing. Real ones have an office with the ability to WFH as they choose.

My job doesn’t just give you a day off, you have to burn your PTO. Rather work from home and save my time off.

I think what it really shows us is most people don't require 40 hours per week to do what they need to do maybe.

Almost as if there's no reason to force professionals to be in an office some arbitrary number of hours to be full time. The work either gets done or it doesn't. This obviously isn't true for all job types, but most "office" jobs would fall under this to me.

Well, it depends on if they're actually working, or "working."

If I had a bunch of screaming kids during a WFH day, it would turn into a "W"FH day very quickly.

Could've hit 25MM if you weren't WFH. 20MM doesn't sound impressive these days.

Just like the guy above said. He does a lot of stuff around the house during work. Could've spent that time working.

I said I think performance suffers overall. You can come in here and give me your EOY numbers all day. And I can say you could've done better.

My wife is WFH and is working. She’s also stuck with the kids. Long day ahead for her.

Moved my clients to Telehealth when weather is shitty.

Otherwise we’d just have to flat cancel and I get paid by the client.
