I'm GenX and I have a 1966 Mustang. I usually only see boomers riding around in old cars from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Seems like millennials aren't interested in restoring, buying, or driving these beauties.

I've been trying to get my hands on a sweet 2002 Camry.

Most can’t afford cars and those that can, can’t drive stick, so what do you think?

I’m a millennial, I love classic cars, but I cannot drive stick except on a tractor

Cars are considered "classic" if they are 30 years or older. So you have to be looking at cars from the 70's and 80's as well.

I'm 30 and I like old cars. I don't know much about them and don't know how to drive a standard, but I still prefer older cars to newer ones. My uncle had a 69 Mustang, sold it and got a 2008 Shelby GT500 (this was in 2008) but then my dickhead cousin managed to wreck it into the ONLY TREE in a giant empty parking lot. Now my uncle is into Broncos

In case you hadn't noticed, millennials aren't particularly interested in cars period.

Over the years I owned 2 different 1989 GMC Sierras, still wish I had at least one of them, especially the step side one. Got rid of the second one back in 2011, sold the first one (step side) in 07.

I'm a millenial and my cars are a '66 C10, a '77 300D, and an '03 Baja. You decide.

Next on the list is a '71 or '72 Jimmy, or a Series IIA Land Rover.

I appreciate them and have favorites, but I'm not too crazy about dumping a bunch of money into one.

It was different for previous generations since they grew up driving them. The nostalgia factor influences them much more.

Given the option of dumping $40k into a '66 fastback or a 2020 GT that can run 11s from the factory, I think most are going with the new one.
