That's not true in the least. They're have been multiple finds including partially intact skulls in several countries across Asia and Africa.

I don't know where you guys come up with this shite. Actually, I do know. My grandma used to take me to those traveling huckster lectures at her church, too.

Spoiler Alert

Those guys are full of shite. They know they're full of shite. And they are lying to you for money.

A religious person can believe in God and evolution.

It’s the morons on opposite ends that make this difficult to understand.

I believe in a specific design. If time plus chance increased complexity ever, anywhere it might be different. People confuse theories with applied science. Those who say an infinite number of monkeys typing randomly would eventually churn out Shakespeare don’t understand entropy or monkeys...

I like Jesus. He looks better than Homo Erectus in drawings.

Want to really shake it up?
We know now that Neanderthal had religion.
They buried their dead with possesions, flowers and food. Proof that they believed in an afterlife.

Religion is so old it was literally invented by another species.

The evidence is very flimsy for evolution. This homo erectus or whatever is extrapolated from like one broken tooth. Carbon decay rate has been observed for about 100 years and is used to date in terms of hundreds of millions even billions of years. That’s a pretty thin slice, you could never get away with outside the religion of evolution.

Please, for your own sake, read some other books.

Seems some have been evolving for millions of years, and other are only a few hundred years into it.

Jeebus that place is horrible. I got RA'd because my avi was james Deen dressed as a priest and now I can't put an avi.

It's fun to troll them. They have some serious meltdowns.

It's how you end up with Catholics spouting "intelligent design" thinking it means one thing when instead it has a VERY specific meaning, and it's not what they actually believe.
Not heard this, and I am Catholic. All that I know understand human evolution to at least some degree.

More younger Catholics tend to believe in evolution than not. Most subscribe to Miller's thought process regarding science.
It's mainly the fundamentalists and Protestant faiths that do mental gymnastics and claim the scientific community is lying in order to preserve their young earth belief. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Catholic tards too but the young earth bullshite is usually promulgated by fundies and Protestants.

Which is kind of my point.

When it comes to arguments about religion, it makes sense for Atheists and various religious sects to butt heads...because in a general sense we atheists do not believe what any of them do in terms of a creator, etc. Within the various forms of religious faith, there are obviously tons of disagreement within them that don't even need our intrusion as well and we're ahppy to let you guys fight amongst yourselves.

But when it comes to topics like science and specifically evolution, it would be a HUGE HELP if Catholics and those groups which are NOT fundamentalists would stand together to ensure that what amounts to a large minority do not force their will through fiat into the classrooms. The fact that you and I may vehemently disagree about the existence of a god ought not be such an obstacle that we can not agree to come together when we really do agree on things, and it ought not make less fundamentalist religious people side with their fundamentalist brethren just so they can oppose an atheist even though they agree on the topic at hand.

I mean...Catholic Schools teach evolution. Theistic Evolution is the "official" position of the Catholic Church.

There need be nothing "atheist" about Evolution. Its just a fact, insert whatever religion you want into it.

Agreed completely. Throughout history, the Catholics have championed science and education. If we can stand with the atheists to ensure our classrooms actually teach science unimpeded, the world would be much better. In fact, most catholic converts these days seem to be from Atheists as opposed to fundies because the fundamentalist and evangelicals tend to hold more hatred for the Catholics than the atheist/agnostic community does.

This has gone pretty far afield.

I would still like to know how creationists explain the many other humanoid species.

I could just go to Answers in Genesis but I don't like giving them the clicks.

The problem is, those other groups don't think we are even Christians

I always laugh when people believe in evolution but then say we are one race, the human race.
