I track every dollar I spend with Quicken. Haven't balanced a checkbook in a decade.

I do but I'm in my 50's.
I have my monthly recurring bills set up on a draft along with my credit card payment which I pay off every month of course.
I have about four that I like to see what I'm being charged before they get their money. I guess you can do that with on-line banking as well,
but like I said, I'm in my 50's.

who still has a checkbook?

No. I have online banking and can see every payment I may, when I made it, and where it was made. That and I only use checks for rent now anyway

I still do. Some debits and credits don't clear for 3-4 days, nice to know how much money you have.

My landlord doesn't have any way to accept electronic payment set up, so I have to write a check each month. I'd MUCH rather just have automatic bill pay, but his house, his rules.
Nope. Bill pay with a large bank auto cuts a check. You don't have to write it or think about it.

All goes on credit cards. Gotta rack up those miles and hotel points

Phone bill about 2 g's flat. No need to worry my accountant handles that

Nope. Haven't in years. I look at my accounts on the app daily. I finally talked my husband in to doing the same recently. He still mails some of his bills though.

I do. I use direct draft, bill to credit card, and e-checks for most items. Might write one or two paper checks a month.
I seldom log on to my checking account, so balancing with the monthly statement forces me to look and catch any mistakes or hacks. Takes 15 minutes a month.
I caught a $60 check a while back that they somehow mistakenly ran through my account.

Here's a rant.
I use like 8 checks a year. Dentist, taxes ect.
Ran out of checks so asked the teller to order me some more.
Just looked at my statement and was billed $37.06 for one box of checks. Didn't think to ask what it would cost as I didn't think it would be jack shite. Now I find out I could've got them from Walmart for like $12.
fricking banks.

I created a spreadsheet to monitor my spending.

I'm 35 and I don't recall ever owning a checkbook.

I haven't balanced a checkbook in 20 years.
I write very few checks. Maybe something that I need to pay for the kids such as baseball or volleyball. I'll send a few to school for field trips and pictures and such I only mail one check, for the car. They do not do electronic funds unless you bank with that lender.
