Yeah, right. That's why the older generation that ate tons of vegetables lived to 100 yrs old.

Like the Maasai tribe? Who do exactly as I described. They don’t eat vegetables and their warriors stay hunting lions in the 80’s

True, but are you saying that eating a limited amount of vegetables is per se a "poor diet"?

Asparagus is good if you sauté it, IMO. Tony’s goes well on almost any vegetable.

Roasted veggies are also nice.

There’s not many vegetables I can eat because I have to avoid vitamin K. Pretty much all green leafy vegetables except a limited amount of iceberg lettuce, are not an option. I mainly stick with onions, tomatoes, radish, squash and zucchini.

My grandmother grows and eats a ton of veggies. She's 89 and just started getting someone else to cut her grass. I've got an anecdote as well

Tell me about this. K1, K2, or both?

I'll eat all of these (reddish is really rare, though) plus red and orange bell peppers (don't care for greens), spinach, romaine, green beans, and tomatoes (yeah, it's a fruit, but still). Problem is, my schedule doesn't allow me many opportunities to buy them and prepare them before they go bad. Sometimes I'll make a concerted effort to make omelets with tomatoes and spinach, or red bell peppers just to ensure I'm eating some. Not nearly what I should, though. Recently started taking a multivitamin that's all whole food, vegetable-sourced.

You must be a yankee.

Every southerner I know will eat black eyed peas, limas, turnip greens and cornbread.

The above with some venison is probably a meal God would eat if he were on earth.

I eat vegetables but there are a lot of them I don't eat.

Bell peppers, squash, eggplant, zucchini, and asparagus can all go to hell.
