You sit at home and smoke weed all day

Some days. But im productive whilst doing so.
I fish 3 days a week, make furniture and woodworking projects and run a few head of cattle.
Going to smoke a few joints while putting about 5-6 hours of tractor time on the John Deere.
I can smoke all day and still outwork a man baby like you.

Fishing and sitting on a tractor isn’t work. That’s leisure, a couple of my favorite activities

I do enjoy them, that's for sure.
Too bad youre stuck inside staring at spreadsheets.

Not everybody has the shame of being supported by their wife. You’re a special breed

Gross. One day they will all be homeless unless mommy or someone has left them a home and a fortune to live on when she dies.

Are the current times not hard? Would that not mean they were created by weak men?

Hell yeah man. My wife has a good job and doesn't mind anything I do. She enjoys the crazy shite i get in to and as the Jason Boland song goes, "My baby loves me when Im stoned, as long as i find my way home"
If you want to call that shameful, or call me a trophy husband, or call me the luckiest man on the planet; that's up to you. Either way, life is good.

Aren’t the guys in the OP article contributing labor?

Some friends of mine have a 26 year old son with sort of a failure to launch thing going on. He doesn't work besides flipping things on eBay. He maybe makes a few hundred here and there but that money is only used to fund his video game obsession. They make him do chores but none that involve outside yardwork and then after he does them he can play games which he does all day and night.
He struggles with depression so they are sympathetic towards him but I think he is depressed because he doesn't have to work and is basically a hermit with no social life.
Honestly, the best thing they could do for him is to kick him out and make him struggle some.
Do you know my sister? That is the same damn situation. The kid lacks social skills, was catered to, and now has very little purpose

I have a family friend whose son is in his 30, has never lived away from his parents and doesn’t work. He just lives upstairs and barely comes out the house.
Guy is brilliant and graduated with a 4.0 in electrical engineering. Had an awesome job where he was making over $150k out of school and quit after 2 years. He hasn’t held a job since.

People are so weird now
Meh. People have always been weird. It is relatively recent that so many have been freed up to be just as weird as they'd like. In older times, only the truly rich and powerful could get away with it
I wouldn't have many problems with it if they'd just leave me alone.

His is an unpaid, unproblematic position
But if a wife does it, it's a symptom of an oppressive patriarchal evil society.

In some cultures, its normal for kids and parents to all live under one roof.
It used to be quite normal to have 3 generations living in a household in the US. That was before the 1950s and the "nuclear family" was foisted on us so that investors could make more money on elderly housing and child care.
Now we act like the nuclear family has always been the norm.
