I don't go often, but every once in awhile I go there to pick up a few things that I use regularly.

When we had a Walmart, hell yeah I did for certain things. Mainly household stuff. Best prices in town, no lines.

Probably why they closed shop.

I get pet food from the Neighborhood WalMart down the street. So once a month.

Rarely visit a big WalMart. Isn't really convenient for me.

Sure, I shop there. Why not? I've also been known to go into Dollar General or Family Dollar when the occasion arises. I'm not a snob. I shop where it's convenient.

All the time. I can put up with trashy to avoid paying $20 for a pair of socks.

Could be wrong, but I think he’s talking about meat/produce

Walmart is one of if not the biggest retail company in the world, yet according to the OT, no one shops there.

I do most of my shopping at WalMart - and it's usually always before 0700 on Saturday morning. That's a habit I got into during my 8 years in Baton Rouge. That's the only time WalMart was palatable.

ETA: I'm contractually obligated to tell you that everything (including WalMart) in Nashville and surrounding areas is much nicer. I can go there after 0700 and not have to carry.

Click and collect FTW.

I go almost once a week and it takes about 5-7 minutes to complete a $120 purchase.

FWIW, about 86% of US households shop Walmart. I pulled this IRI data a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately Wal-Mart is the most convenient store in that category (grocery/households) to my house. As much as I hate going to it I do fairly often, and yes every time I think how trashy it is.

I would go to Walmart more often, but it's out of my way. I have have five other grocery stores within a mile of my house.

When I do go to one, I do like others have noted and get there early in the morning.

It probably didn’t help that I went to the Walmart in Denham Springs.

As opposed to what? Visiting a Walmart in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Monroe, Jackson, New Roads??

I prefer the market stores. No weirdos in those.

I don't feel trashy going to a Wal-Mart store; that's asinine.

Frustrated? Absolutely.
