Broome put an end to homicide reporting from the Advocate, because it was making her look bad, plain and simple.

So how are we keeping track of the numbers these days?

Narcotics was a hot mess for years. They could not even stop the cocaine coming into N BR from Baker.

If BRPD knew about a drug bust somehow these guys were tipped off.

Sad part is these guys receive for funds for their narcotics division than the sheriff. The sheriff has more area to cover.

Kicker is now we know they setup people and arrested them outside the city limits off Reiger Road. These are small level guys.

Instead of working with the Baker PD and Sheriff to stop major distributors of drugs from coming into the city which again this section has a large amount of funding.

Guess what they do?
Setup low level drug dealers off Reiger Road which is outside of their jurisdiction. This area is legally unincorporated or the future city of St George.

You guys better hope I do not get my Louisiana Law enforcement certification and run for Chief of St George.
It would be a Chief Gates era of the LAPD of cleaning out places like this using legal methods which the SJW would not like.

Narcotics yes those hotels off Reiger Road would understand what slum hotel owners discovered under the Chief Gates era LAPD.
It would not be nice.

I would personally sit watching for the group letting the panhandlers out off Seigen lane to have a nice talk with me and my associates.

Yes, my traffic division would be an equal opportunity enforcer of the laws. My division would be in subdivisions writing citations in problems areas just like Airline Hwy, Burbank, Nicholson, and I-10 / Ascension line. I would personally write my officer a citation if he or she or it was caught running a red light to eat lunch. That a bad look for my dept and pisses me off. If I do something my deputy chief would put me inline as I feel the law is the law.

I would be fair to my officers and citizens as this is important to me. I would be that prick to clean house to clean up problems inside The City of St George.

Murphy Paul is no better than the last Chief that Broome wanted to can from the first day after she won the election. But she will never can him because he's her Chief! She put him there and to can him would be admitting failure! And she will never do that!

So you admit you have no experience or knowledge on how to be a police officer but do know how it all should be done? Nice!

Not in Louisiana, but in California.

A large California city 22 years.
Supervisor 10 in a high crime area.
In a lot larger city with a lot higher crime rate.
A lot of depts studied techniques the dept I worked for developed.
Worked under the Chief Gates Administration.
Under his administration we had street gangs under control and crime under control.
Crime will never go away. We had it under control by putting pressure on businesses that helped the criminal element grow. They knew if they allowed the criminal element to show up, we would like to hang around to help the business revenue decrease. Gates, was an A$$H$le. People liked him as he got things done.

Let’s see BRPD size of a division if even that large. It a large dept for a small state. In reality it is a small dept compared to larger metro areas.
The experience on the street a joke. Two years and you get promoted. Wow, these officers are not ready as it takes from my experience three to five years to get a full understanding of the job.
We had more officers on shift in my division than than BRPD has on street duty 24/7.
A lot lower crime rate which they cannot control as they lost the experienced officers due to lack of pay.
Example is the RaceTrac video recently. That got out of hand way too easily for a routine in service call.
Disfunction everywhere as we see daily on video and a mayor hiding it.

If you get a supervisor from this dept you are not getting change you are getting the good ole boy network.

If SWB wasn't an idiot she would have kept Dabadie. Dabadie's daddy helped LeDuff climb the ranks and he played a role in Dabadie being appointed.

Some people think that was the "good ole boy system" and a little bit of the good ole boy system isn't always bad.. As long as things are going good.

LeDuff and Dabadie were respected within the department unlike Paul. Kip allowed LeDuff to do his job. Paul is SWB's puppet.

I know Kip & SWB don't see eye to eye so I don't know if her decision to replace Dabadie had to do with the fact he was from the old administration (I know people will say it was all about appointing a black person and to some degree it might have been, but I think there was some more to it than that). Either way, its pretty obvious she is pulling the strings and she don't know what the frick she is doing.

Its good to see Kiran Chawla isn't backing down. SWB is the reason she was let go at WAFB. She was going to limit the information they got so she put them in a bad position, but she can't do frick about her doing her own reporting. She went after Chawla's job now it looks like the tables have turned. Hopefully there is something that comes out of this.

I heard good things about both of them.
LeDuff, I met during Swat training and he seemed like a good leader.
Back then the Swat officers seemed like they knew their stuff and worked well together. In late 80’s probably early 90’s this group stood out to me.

Never met Dabadie personally.

Very impressive if true.

I agree with everything you say. It's a fricked up department.

Please submit your resume to my office. I am currently the unofficial mayor of St. George. Just waiting for Edward's to make it official.

Replacing Dabadie was a campaign promise that her candidacy and tenure as Mayor is built on: Convince people of color that white Baton Rouge Police Officers are out of control and systematically racist, but that SHE and her point man are the solution.

This is why you see both she and her Chief exploiting every single white Officer that violated or may have violated policy/law. It's critical to keep the narrative fresh to ensure power.

There are countless examples of this. She used the Cops from the Alton Sterling encounter as her first case. The Cops from the Koy Moore incident are probably the clearest example. That incident occurred within weeks of her run off. Poor guys never stood a chance. We all knew they would exploit the incident, posture, and drag their feet before releasing clear body worn camera showing the Officers acted appropriately.

The Cop with the knee "possibly on the neck" that was put through the ringer is another strong example.

The latest is the Cop that seized the illegal gun and narcotics. The department was running that video last night on its fb page, despite the incident still being under investigation.

Democrat politicians have been running this fear hustle in most major cities for the past few years. Sadly, the data is coming back consistently that white cops are not systemically racist and as result of these exploits, communities of color are facing record levels of violence because Cops are not policing the inner city streets like in the past out self preservation.

In the camera shots that include both her and the lawyer, she’s wearing glasses. When the camera shot changes to just her asking questions, supposedly in the same conversation, she’s not wearing glasses.

So you’d ramp up the extortion to generate revenue at the expense of hard working families who already struggle financially.
