Disney Plus Will Be $7 A Month. Launches November 12th

I have no interest in getting Disney plus, but I find it interesting how ESPN has been pushing ESPN+ and now Disney + (all owned by same company). More and more people will be cutting cable..

I could give a shite about their original programming at the moment.
If PlayOn creates a way to stream from them, though, I may do an archive binge of their movies and old TV shows since there is a decent amount of Fox and Disney stuff I don’t have yet.

We'll all end up back on cable after it becomes so fragmented that it's more expensive to stream. And I say that as someone that hasn't had cable in years.

After reading what will be offered, I will probably get it. My kids will eat that shite up. The article said they will probably offer a bundle of ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ in the future. They will do well.

Supposedly they'll roll out a Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu package too. I believe they're the majority owner of Hulu IIRC. That's basically the kid + dad + mom package.

And it’s for reason I refuse to get Disney streaming, in spite of them trying to choke Netflix out by buying out every other major movie studio.

People have been screaming for an a-la-carte provider for years. Pay for the ones you want, and only the ones you want. No single provider has does that. Now, we can.
