I have seen every, and I mean every Disney animated movie (2 young kids here). In all those movies there have only been 10 seconds showing a gay couple, and that was in Finding Dory. And honestly if you are not an adult you can't even tell it was a gay couple.

Even as an adult I didn't think those two were lesbian.

If I saw these two women walking in an aquarium, I would assume they were friends before I thought they were lesbian.

Oh God this means you'll actually have to explain your kids people are different
.

Yeah this is really a non issue and the people getting mad about it are being ridiculous. Plus I always that the dude was gay anyway, he seemed to be way too obsessed with Gaston anyway.

It's not being forced on you or your kids.

Plenty of Disney stories (including this one) feature some type of "perversion" or another, and no one bats an eye.

What makes a gay person or a transvestite any more perverted than other people? Have to disagree with that statement.

how can you disagree with it?

maybe deviant would be a better descriptor

Plenty of heterosexual people fall into that category and those "accepted standards" now include gay and transgender people by a large portion of society.

Also, the OP has no issue with countless Disney classics having the girl underage being courted by a much older man....

Cinderella is the first one that comes to mind.... She is what 16 and the prince is mid 20's?

I answered that earlier when I said that shows that are based on previous works like Gotham and Supergirl are changed to include gay characters. I exaggerated a little to try to make a point when I said "almost every show". It just seems that more times than not when I turn on the TV, there's a show or commercial with a gay person on there. Not the case when I go out in the real world. Never said I had a problem with gay people, just feel like most writers are making it a point to include them too often.

You brought up perverts, not me.

You think perversion is an issue with gay people but not straight. Your life experiences seem very limited. I'd guess you're either from a very small town or you're just very sheltered if you truly believe that.

Tired of tv shows/movies pushing it on us and acting like it's ok/the new in thing. And seriously...., a kids movie??

What about reality "pushing" it on you. I guarantee your precious child has had contact with a *gasp* gay person, be it a teacher, family friend, music teacher, someone. They're probably too scared to reveal themselves because of your bigotry.

Gay people have been around since everyone else, so it's not "in" or "new," the only new thing is people like you no longer have power of subjugation over them being who they are. I hope for your kids sake none of them turn out gay or they may never be welcome home again.

No, way over the top. I have watched the movie with my kids over a dozen times and not once did I pick up on a gay message. Granted, I am sometimes oblivious to my surroundings (like my wife's new scarf), but this is all a tempest in a teapot.

So you don't have a single sexual preference that would be considered not really normal?

Sounds like you're a pervert, or just super boring at sex

Dude. Gay people are all around you, everywhere you go. They don't wear big signs that say "I'm GAY!"

I hear ya baw. I worry sometimes that since Hollywood is pushin the gay so much, that every man's son is gonna be a pole smoker one day. Then what would happen to football? I mean, being gay is fine, I know 2 of em from work, and I like em. I'm definitely not a homophobe.
