I re-use my water glass. It goes in the dishwasher at the end of the day.

Ill also re-use a drinking glass if it's just water. I will give it a quick rinse though usually.

So in order to reuse a glass you drink water out of you rinse it off with…..water?

I reuse the same towel once or twice.
I'll try and use the same cup all day.

SO true!!!

I make my son two sandwiches for school Monday to Wednesday (custody schedule) so I know I’ll be using the knife again for at least 2 more days. So I just leave right there.

Of course I’ll clean it before each use.

I do this with my community New Orleans blend K-pods, make a full 20 oz yeti cup full instead of just half by running it through twice.

We still use bars of soap instead body wash.

I may or may not have reused a rubber back in the day.

Same here. I’ll use it about 3-4 showers before it goes to the dirty laundry bin.

We use towels once, then into the wash they go.

Ziploc bags are used once.

I'll wear a PJ or nightgown for a couple of nights in a row.

Multiple re-uses of same towel after showering? To save washing machine.

Multiple re-uses of a drinking glass/cup or silverware to save dish washing machine?

Why would anyone not do this?

I guess if you don't shower very often it makes sense.

Why would it make sense only if you don't shower very often? Seems like it would make more sense if you showered often.

I re-use the same towel a few times....if you showered well enough it shouldn't be an issue.
I read a study from MIT about times you should use a bath towel, their results were three was optimal.

Change sheets about every five days, never go to bed needing a shower.

5 showers a day in this house. I require at least one reuse out of everybody. We already do laundry every damn day.

I do resuse the two water cups in my rotation multiple times between washing.

Honestly I think you hit the only 2. I can't think of anything else.

I reuse my towel maybe 2 or 3 more times.

I rinse out my morning coffee cup and keep for 2 or 3 more reuses, but only if the rinse was immediate (coffee residue hadn't dried to the bottom of the cup).

I’ve gone weeks with the same water cup just rinsing it out before each refill. I do the same thing with my coffee cup at work.
