Mine did not. I found some porn and a book called "The Sensuous Man" in my dad's closet when I was 12-13. The book was an excellent help in teaching techniques. My dad knew I had found it and asked if I knew what I had read.

Not really.

I remember one day simply asking my parents if sex means P goes in V, and they said yes.

How dare they not additionally inform me that P can also go in M and that it's an even lovelier experience without pregnancy complications.

They also failed to mention that P can go in A, but that's not really my style anyway. Exit only.

Heavy Metal gave me a good idea before hand but sometime around 3rd or 4th grade my parents had the talk.

They mentioned a few things, but never really had "the talk". I think we had sex ed in 5th grade.

Whether they learn it from sex ed class or not, they will eventually learn about it at school...

My mom did but she was an amateur ornithologist and I took a strong liking to entomology as a child so I learned a lot.

Had that same book.

We had that one called “Where Did I Come From?” that explained sex, and another called “What’s Happening To Me?” that was about puberty. That second one had a page with the developmental stages of girls’ bodies at each age period - while most of the book was cartoons, that page was like a very accurate hand-drawn illustration. Very accurate. That page came in very “handy”.

ETA: Probably still have them in my house somewhere - I think we bought the same books for our kids years ago. I had my original copies back in the late ‘70s I’m guessing.

I learned a lot about sex by working with my dad on the ranch and watching lots of animals having sex and giving birth.

My dad had a stash of movies and magazines. Found them and went on my own educational adventure.

My dad realized he didn’t need to have the talk when he walked in on me watching a movie one night. Luckily my pecker was still in my pants. That was at 10 years old. Good times.

My dad loved James Bond movies so we would watch them all the time.

One night I’m probably 11 or 12 and we’re watching some Bond movie and James just banged his 3rd or 4th different chick of the movie.

My dad paused it

Looks over

“Son you know if someone had as much sex as James Bond with different women he would get a disease or one of them would end up pregnant rjght?”

“Yea dad”

“Good”

Unpause.

I remember pictures of circumcised vs uncut penises in there. Haha. It was a very interesting book. People on amazon are complaining it’s too graphic. And there’s apparently a comment about how boys like boobs, which is pissing people off

People are uptight. That book is awesome.

Honestly not shite. My Dad used to purposefully leave and go do whatever when I had a girlfriend visiting. Didnt even have the condom talk or anything. Just had a normal routine of leaving a teenage couple at home alone with no supervision for hours on end. Its amazing I didnt wind up a teenage dad or contracted herpes
