Did you grow up without divorced parents?

My parents were married for over 50 years before my mother passed. They had been a couple since junior high.
In addition to that, my paternal grandparents were were married 50+ years. Along with my dad, his three siblings have all been married 50+ years.
On my mother's side, her father died young and her mother remarried. They were married 49 years before she passed away. My mother's brother is approaching the 50 year mark.
The next generation...well, all hell broke loose.

Nope. My parents were divorced in 1989. Latchkey kid after that.

Yes so far, I’m only in my early twenties though. I guess anything could happen to parents in their mid 50’s these days

My parents had a shotgun wedding when my mother found out she was pregnant with my older brother at 16.
Somehow, someway, both are successful and still together now 37 years later.

Mine are still together for 35+ but appear to be miserable. Dad is a POS, wish they had gotten divorced when I was a kid - they almost did a couple times.

Parents divorced when my brother and I were really young. They both remarried and had one kid. I’d say both of those kids were better equipped to enter adulthood than my brother and I were. We figured it out, but it wasn’t as effortless.

Parents have been together for 35 years. Married a month after meeting each other.
Eta: relationship still as strong as ever

Nope!! Fortunately I was 18mo when my parents split. Don't really remember my dad being my dad other than every other weekend and a month in the summer.
My mom remarried when I was around 5 to the most amazing man I know. He is my dad.

Parents nor any of my grandparents were divorced. We have a normal functioning immediate family.
Now....my extended family is pretty f’ed up.

My father died when I was 3 and my parents had been married 8 years.
My mom remarried and was married to my stepdad for 41 years.
She died in August 2016 (that stupid flood did her in). My stepdad died in 2019, 3 days shy of the 3rd anniversary of my mom's death.
