I did not until my 30th and it was as I expected. Crappy.

I went to my 10 yr. reunion just to see who attended and catch up with a few of the people I considered friends back in the day that I hadn't seen in years due to-------------life.

That was the last one I attended. I did get an invite in 2020 for the 50 yr. reunion and it was cancelled due to COVID and I believe they tried to reschedule but I don't know if it was ever carried out. Not that I planned on going anyway.

This all day. I recently had my 50th and it was really well attended. It was really great to see everyone. I wish it would’ve lasted longer so I would’ve gotten to talk to people more.
I don’t get people who think they are too cool.

My 30th would be this year. If they had one I wouldn’t know about. I keep in touch with 2 or 3 people from my class but never have heard of anyone organizing one or anything. Don’t think I’m above going but I don’t think I would enjoy it either.

I went to an informal meet sometime around 34 years after and in 5 minutes I realized I had nothing in common with these people and I really didn’t care for them. On the other hand I made some life long friends at my first duty station and we get together every so often and I attend every one possible.

Nope…there’s a reason you haven’t kept in touch with most of those people for 10 years.

My 40th will be coming up next year. I've never gone to one of my reunions. My wife, however, graduated the year before me and we attended her 20-year reunion where I got to see enough people I knew in order for me to know that I didn't need to go to my reunion for the same school the next year. I simply have no desire to drive ten hours to spend a few hours at the Elks Lodge or Steel Workers Hall to watch people I haven't seen in years get sloshed.

I skipped my 10 year and I felt like I regretted it. I grew up in Opelousas and it looked like they had a GOOD 'ol time might go to the next one

Social media definitely takes away the nostalgia the old timers used to experience at these things. 10 years seems too soon, since you can see what everyone is doing on social media. 20 years might be worth while.

No I moved on since high school and don’t talk with people I went to high school with. If I wanted to see them I could find them on social media. Not worth it to fly across the country to see people I hardly remember.

You shoot your shot if they are no longer hot?

Not quite sure I understand the logic there.

I think those are getting less and less attended. My 10th and 20th were pretty decent turnouts and required a rental space. The 30th was about 2 dozen of us meeting in the parking lot before a football game.

My parents 50th was in 2003 and probably had a hundred people there.

I went to my 10 year reunion, it was a pretty fun time. I'd probably go to upcoming ones if I'm available.

Not even worth the 8 hour drive. I talk to 0 people from high school.
