No, I haven't been to an official one for a long time.

I grew up in a really small town. Moved far far away >1k miles.

Went to my 10 and 25. It was good to see a lot of them. I’m not on social media and only stayed in touch with a few.

Not a one. Various reasons, some legit some not.
Small bit of regret that dissipated quickly.

No. I don't give a frick about all of those pieces of shite, and the one that I do is a memory I don't mess with.

I went to some of them, but not others. Some of them were about 4 days of events including a lit of stuff meant for your family…no wife or kids, so I obviously did not attend those events.

I will say, for the most part, for all of mine I was reluctant to go, but enjoyed it after I went.

Go if you want or don’t go if you are not comfortable…but remember, you only have 4 or 5 of them in your life.

I am coming up on my 40th and I will probably attend

I live in washington, and graduated from a New Orleans public school. I saw the Facebook pics of the 35th reunion that happened over Labor Day. I'm glad I didn't go and glad I haven't gone to any.

I left new orleans in 1990, and don't ever plan to move back there or see any of the people I went to HS with. I only recognized one person, who I went to grade school and HS with, the rest aren't even memories any longer. It was rare to be the white kid at a New Orleans public high school in the '80's, and even rarer now. There's nothing in it for me.

The obsession with shite that happened 20 years ago is weird. If you haven't lived a life where you don't give a shite about people that you went to high school with ten or more years out, you have a problem.

Went to the 10yr reunion for about an hour. That was 1979, and I haven’t been to the other ones.

You obviously were not a high school legend. I went to 10th and 20th. I had more fun than I thought

10 year is just high school 2.0. Same people and same shite. I went to my 20. It was fun. Anyone still living in high school was shunned. Everybody had kids or older kids. Most married over 10 years or on a second marriage. Any high school nonsense seemed stupid. Only good memories were left.

I have my 30th coming up next year. I haven't gone to any function since graduation May of 1996. Of our friend group me and one other guy are the only ones that still talk and it's about every two weeks.

It's funny how life and friendships go separate ways after high school.

I attended my 10th, my 25th, and my 60th. The most satisfying was my 60th. At my 10th birthday, everyone was trying to impress each other about how much money they were making. At my 25th birthday, everyone was hitting on the girl they had a crush on in high school. At my 60th, we were all retired and really enjoyed each other's company.

I’ve found that after 20 years, you’ll recognize most everyone, but it’d take some work to put a name to a lot of the faces.

In my home town, each graduating class either turned into townies or everyone abandoned the town. My brother and sister’s classes turned in to townies so every weekend is a reunion for them.

My class abandoned the town, so there’s not much contact.

Never. There is absolutely no one that I wanted to see.
