Did the RAF pilots seem to eject a little too early?

I thought so but I know jack shite about flying other than sitting in the back and ordering drinks.

It’s hard to tell from that video but if internally they knew they lost controls for one reason or another you’re better off, punching out quickly rather than trying to save it if all control is lost.

And….there will be an investigation.
I’m relatively certain that investigation, based on their training was that as soon as they had an aircraft they can’t control, get out of it because they do no good being in it

I’ve been saying this. Pilots these days hit the eject way too soon. Nobody tried to fly out of it anymore.

It looked like it was in the middle of farm country. I saw one residence.
It also looked like they lost the ability to control the jet and were flying blind the way it was pitched up.

There are only two options when ejecting. Too early or too late.

Ill wait for the Mover and Gonky Show about this, but many jets have a very short emergency checklist that are... loss of flight control? Sunny side up? Altitude above min? Brace head and pull eject. The risk of loss of flight control below certain altitude can cause plane go inverted in split second making ejection unsurvivable.

Saw the thread title and saw RAF and my mind went to WW2 RAF. Those guys were some bad arse mofos. The Brits used to have that stiff upper lip.
