Read a report yesterday on the Thunderbirds pilot that ejected a couple of years back. His engine grenaded and he nursed the plane along for FOUR MINUTES in an area where he would have been safe to eject. Obviously not your average pilot but damn who would stay with a plane for four minutes that has thrown four blades in the turbine and was losing power?

Naw. It was going straight. Probably just tied the steering wheel to something to keep it that way. And then ejected.

My grandpa was a RAF pilot. Northern Africa. My mom said he didn’t talk much and drank a lot so im sure he saw some shite.
