So that friend blew her chance to get pregnant.

My great aunt had a one night stand in the 50s and they drove from San Francisco to Vegas to get married first and annulled it the next morning.

Were college aged people just more discreet about their sexual exploits, or was there actually significantly less debauchery?

No it all started in the 60s

There were just as many hooers back then as there are now. Back then Suzy Q. got drilled by everyone on the block or her class. Nowadays with technology Suzy can cast a wider net. I think today with media putting "sex" out there that it's just considered the norm. It's normal to gloss over the past because no one wants to think about their mother or grandmother getting railed.

This old dude in the neighborhood told me that when they got into France, the French women were very appreciative and knew how to show it. Must have been 80-ish at the time, and had a giant ear to ear smile on his face as he remembered those times.

Apparently it was easy pickings in France and Germany. Hell, even the English ladies loved the American boys while they were preparing to make invade Fortress Europe.

She was super prim & proper. I can only assume she started getting crazy in her 90s. She randomly told my sister & me that story in the parking lot at the Mall of Louisiana. We were like "........."

People didn't have sex before 1960.

Women were whores in the Roaring 20s. Then the Great Depression hit (the economic one not them getting hit and quit and becoming unstable) and people became more conservative and religion took back over until the end of the 1960s.

Game changer. Sally Sue didn't have to go away to "boarding school" her sophomore year, or drop out and get married.

The iPhone of their generation.
