Same. I’m more scared unloading the dishwasher than I am when picking up cottonmouths.

No, it's man's fault for inventing the dishwasher. God intended for women to do that

Frick off with the stereotyping. I’m sick of the constant complains about women. It’s pathetic.

If i had ever been on the show the greatest race and it came down to picking someone that could do thinking on the fly and figuring out stuff, i would rather pick a meth head begger off Siegen lane than a woman just because of their style of thinking like that

My OL says the same about me. Calm down, if the dish is inside the washer it will be washed. It’s not a brain mechanics.

They’re grooming you to just do it yourself.

Idk… I just wonder why it takes a dishwasher longer to run than a washing machine

She thought that was till I had water all over the counter, floor and chipped a few bowls and glasses.

Never have to wash clothes anymore after it was discovered I washed everything together.

Have never had a problem doing that yet some people flip out about it.

No it is a feature. It tells us that washing dishes should be done by hand. And God giving women the lack of ineptitude to load it is your punishment for purchasing that contraption.

You would have thought I discovered relativity when I started grouping utensils in the baskets so you didn’t have to sort them when you take them out.

It's amazing to me how many people in general never realize that's what the different sections are for in the basket

Knife blades up? So you have to reach into a Viet cong punji trap to unload a dishwasher. Who the frick does this?

Sharp knives go in blade down, butter knives and everything else go in handle down.

Our silverware basket is on the door and opens so I can still grab by the handles to put everything away.

Um, God doesn't glitch. Everything has purpose and intent with God, or so I'm told.

I do not understand the difference in sorting before or separating after? You folks overcomplicate things and that is the real waste of time.

Every dishwasher loads differently but placement allows for better cleaning.
You want plates at the bottom and cups at top. Modern dishwashers usually don't get hot enough to melt plastic on the bottom shelf but I still don't like Tupperware down there if you have a calrod ESPECIALLY if you have a plastic tub.

Forks go up, knives go down. In fact on Kitchenaid and many other top ones is Impossible to put silverware down.
Some have a silverware shelf. I like that.

But to agree with OP I tell my wife and kids NOT to load the dishwasher, I rather do it.
