Superstar Diana Ross and the popular pop band Maroon 5 will take the stage during the Krewe of Endymion's "Extravaganza" party at the Caesars Superdome, following the Feb. 26 Carnival parade. If parades and mega parties are allowed to take place next year, that is.

As lead singer with the Supremes, Ross produced an unparalleled string of 1960s hits from "Stop in the Name of Love," to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," to "Touch Me in the Morning," then followed with a solo career fueled with tunes such as "Endless Love."

Fronted by vocalist Adam Levine, Maroon 5 has been a pop sensation for two decades. The band would certainly have a substantial New Orleans following, even if it did not feature hometown R&B star P.J. Morton.

There are so many stipulations in New Orleans for large gatherings right now, there is no way Destroya will let Mardi Gras happen.

A parade full of men forced to endure Maroon 5 after hours of partying on a float is the biggest frick you to men I have seen. Endymion trying to emasculate their entire crew. Shameful!

To be fair, Tim McGraw was pretty shitty in 2019.

Being in the Superdome for EE with thousands of drunk middle-aged white women screaming the words to “Sugar” sounds like my personal hell.

Did the NOPD magically add another 250 officers to make it to 750 or are we still at the unofficial number of 521 still?

That lineup is crap but there will be a MG in 2022.

By this time last year everyone knew there was not so krewes were able to defer things, get out of contracts, etc.

Everyone is committed this year for 20222. Way too big of a financial loss for the krewes if they cancel.

Destroya about to be reminded who really is in charge.

the bottom line is that you never know what an Extravaganza headliner will work out

If they understand the environment and adjust to it, they will do really well...my one piece of advice for Diana Ross: RIDE IN THE PARADE!!!

In my experience, Kid Rock was amazing.

Pat Benatar, Luke Bryan, and Train put on really good shows

IMO the two really sucky acts were Lynard Skynard (needed hearing protection) and Carrie Underwood (did a canned concert and didn't try to adjust to where she was)
