3,711 total passengers
684 confirmed cases (17%)
328 of the confirmed cases asymptomatic (no signs whatsoever)

LINK

This shows a lot of people aren't getting it at all and half the people that get it don't have any issues at all.

That may be a good news/bad news thing if there are a lot of asymptomatic people out there spreading it to others.

That’s not a good thing. It means this thing might be more widespread now than we realize

Jesus suffering frick..... you're a fricking pussy. You're the exact type of people that are buying into this whole panic caused by the media coverage and making it much worse than what it really is.

So you think the fact that they had basically a perfect incubator for this shite in a cruise ship and only 17% even contracted it at all is bad news?

If anything, this is a good sign about how virulent it is or isn’t.

Are you inferring that Chinese are a different species? That the virus doesn't infect Americans the same way it does Chinese?

You know, this is a thing biologically. Ask the Native Americans how those European diseases treated them after First Contact.

But that was a pretty drastic difference in potential antibody receptors(?) or something like that, between Europeans and Natives.

What about Italians? or New Rochelle? or Seattle?

Not to mention the situation you are presenting came about because of thousands of years of isolation between the populations. How long have we had isolation from the Chinese?

its definitely more widespread than we realize. I wouldnt be surprised if I had it already. The good news is that it has little effect on most younger to middle aged people. the bad is that it takes a while to notice the symptoms and the older folks will take the toll because of that.
