I'm not sure what you're arguing. Are you arguing that the assumption should be that all humans and/or human populations are the same on the genetic/biological level when it comes to susceptibility of diseases?.
Or are you arguing that these places have differences in levels, types, or quality of healthcare?

I’m inferring that Wuhan is nothing like the US in terms of this virus. Not the healthcare. Not the demographics. Not the situation where it started and spread there for months before anyone was aware.

You'd be correct. But, if you just blow off the threat of coronavirus like many on the board are doing, you are going to have a situation where hospitals would absolutely be flooded
All of the precautions are necessary. I get that it's frustrating to hear doomsday preppers shouting that the worlds going to end. It sucks seeing a bunch of Karens at Target fighting over the last roll of toilet paper for something that could potentially produce no symptoms
But do not make fun of people who want to take these precautions because it will lessen the hospital bed burden that could become catastrophic if no one gave a shite about social distancing

Wouldn't happen if people would take a reasonable, educated, and objective approach here. The idiocy is making an already ignorant, given-to-panic population more likely to seek unnecessary hospital visits and put extra stress on said facilities while wasting the withering supplies of PPE which only can put additional risk on healthcare providers and those they see.
