Thank god. Now that air travel is less enjoyable than traveling on a Greyhound Bus and idiots think it is acceptable within the social contract to take their shoes off on a plane and expose eerybody to their stinking arse feet, corns and fungus encrusted yellow toe nails they can, if they choose, at least wash their damned old nasty feet before boarding the plane. It is a great time to be alive!

"Project consists of adding Ablution stations to existing concourse level restrooms in Terminal D, one Men's ablution station in existing men's restroom and one Women's ablution station in the existing women's restroom," the project details read.
It is privately funded and expected to cost around $300,000, the documents state."
Somebody is scamming somebody. These things cost about $2500. They are basically a toilet without a bowl and a seat facing the faucet with foot wells and a drain. Even with partitions for privacy $150k a piece (there will be 2 of them in the airport apparently). Some minor core drilling, unless the bathrooms they are going in are on the ground floor, unlikely given most of DFW has a baggage handling and service area under the concourses and gate areas, some minor plumbing reconfiguration of supply lines and drains and you can sit down, turn on the water and wash you damned old nasty arse feet. I will travel from Augusta Georgia, furnish all labor, tools and materials to install these 2 for $200k and put $160k in my pocket....
Almost always a sure sign someone is being scammed...making it a safety issue.....or a maintenance issue....or, in this case, both.
I have no dog in the fight but installing 2 new fixtures in 2 existing restrooms at $150K each is damn good work if you can get it...

Jobs are why people move here and that’s it. There are literally no other redeeming qualities about this state besides the fact that it’s an economic engine.
