No they don't. You're not paying attention or you're making stupid assumptions.

I've seen small handful of people that have said something like that and have been downvoted into oblivion.

90% of the people you're talking about want to continue social distancing and isolating vulnerable people while re-opening businesses.

I've just been arguably the most present poster in COVID conversations on this board.

Your stupidity is a disease.

The last three restaurants and grocery stores I visited before any mandated shut downs or restrictions were all doing their own protective measures. We don't all need government to tell us how to eat, shite and piss.

No one thinks we should go wide open on day one. C’mon man.

I'd like to remind everyone that we were told all of this was to flatten the curve; not to ensure that no one catches the 'rona. The curve appears to be flattening. Hospitals are not overwhelmed, and likely were never in any real danger of being overwhelmed. Seems they have forgotten this.

Maybe it would be enough to wake up New Orleanians enough to elect a competent mayor for a change.

No they aren’t. The State Fire Marshall will go shut them down.

She's keeping everyone home until they can clear the Hard Rock site and remove the bodies. Out of sight, out of mind.

Was on a call this morning, in the next two weeks we will most likely be ramping back up and bringing in people to work on projects that were on hold. Precautions like social distancing, added PPE, and more frequent disinfecting of buildings will continue but work will ramp up.

It is possible to be safe and work, but it takes extra effort.

It's really a mutual decision for LaTerya and me. I don't plan to go to NOLA well past that date anyway. Win- Win.

JBE will be forced to open up. As Texas, Miss and Arkansas start rebuilding their economies, Louisiana will be left in the dust.

Yes all of this.

Nice and easy soft openings.

At the very least, don't make a blanket policy for the entire state. I live in Calcasieu which has 282 total cases in a parish of 200,000. The last four days, new cases have been 11, 9, 5, 9. If that continues, there is no reason Calcasieu couldn't begin to open up on May 1. Especially if Texas, which boarders Calcasieu, is open in some capacity.
