In 1999, pit bulls were about 3% of the U.S. dog population, but accounted for 17% of shelter dog admissions. Since 2000, pit bulls have increased to about 5% of the U.S. dog population

How the hell have Labs killed 9 people?
Posted on 5/21/19 at 2:51 pm to Placebeaux
Interesting, I’ve never met an aggressive Lab nor seen one

I would like to see a breakdown between black, chocolate and yellow labs.

I’m aware of a situation where a girl with “PTSD” is allowed to bring her massive pit bull to work and it sits under her desk all day. And this is a business that has many kids present. How tf is this legal? Surely a company can decline an emotional support animal as not reasonable accommodation due to risk of liability if a kid gets bitten.

If it saves only one life...

Id bet its actually higher than 5%. In the pet world not very many owners actually list their dog as a pit or pit mix. Most use lab mix, mix, etc.

how tf did a labrador kill a person let alone 9 in that time period? from licking them to death or from trying to lay on top of them on a couch and suffocate them?

I think the study is wrong because I didn't see any deaths attributed to those damn Golden Doodle dogs. How many women have killed themselves driving because their golden doodle jumped out of their purse?

Averages 22 / year. That's like a month's worth of murders in Louisiana. About a month's worth of negligent driving deaths.

No no, that ratio is 13/50
As we’ve been over, it’s really 3/50 when looking at age/sex of the perps. Truly disturbing
