if chauvin committed murder what about the three other cops? did they commit murder too? did they allow chauvin to commit murder?
they are charged with aiding and abetting murder and manslaughter. At least 1 of them was attempting to de-escalate DC, they may get some clemency. the ones who were preventing medical aid from being rendered may have earned themselves a felony.
much like if your co-bank robber commits murder everyone involved gonna catch a charge.

What’s scary about this, Is it basically came out as the defense needed to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that DC didn’t co tribute to his death in any way. That’s not how our legal system is supposed to work.

Crime is going to soar. Cops will look the other way for fear of ending up like Chauvin while the black community has been empowered and now thinks they are untouchable.

This does not mean his actions led to Floyd's death.
Simply doing something someone else thinks was unreasonable does not mean you committed murder.
baby step for you.
the footage, autopsy, medical evidence + testimony show that DC actions caused GF death. facts proved it was a homicide no matter how hard you believe it to be a fatal OD.
the unreasonable actions and intentionally causing+disregarding eminent danger to another's life is the murder part.

AMS- What was the final conclusion on the alleged claustrophobia and that Floyd said he couldn't breathe in the back seat of the SUV?
Floyd had no issue falling asleep as the driver of his own vehicle with 3 other adults...2 of which gave false identity to police
so what was the cry and begging to lie down in the street about which led us to how they whole thing ended
but it began with Floyd begging for air, to lie down...
what is your conclusion that was all about?

better than cops murdering civilians over counterfeiting.
Look on the bright side, police crimes will go way down. You may enjoy licking boots, but thats not for everyone.

Didn’t his own boss say otherwise under oath?
I believe he was commenting on kneeling directly on the neck, which I've said since last May that we are trained NOT to do.
This was one of the main problems I originally had, and saw, with the first video released. I railed against Chauvin kneeling directly on Floyd's neck, it's right there in my post history if you want to dig for it. I said something like "it gives us (law enforcement) all a bad name" at the time.
But there was plenty of reasonable doubt presented in the trial, SO much more brought to light than the original viral video showed.
Also after reviewing his behavior before the restraint, it seems like he fit every definition of Ex-DS I/we were ever trained to recognize. Ex-DS in itself has been shown to be deadly in similar circumstances, regardless of restraint technique applied.
If y'all think fellow law enforcement officers aren't extra harsh on their colleagues, especially when something like this goes viral and makes our jobs infinitely harder, you're crazy. I condemned Chauvin harshly before knowing the facts and called him an embarrassment.
I pretty much expected the Manslaughter charge and even understood how that could fit, but murder absolutely DOES NOT. Our jobs are hard enough as it is without having to worry about YET ANOTHER angle that'll take you away from your family for life.
That's no excuse for bad policing, which the law enforcement community looks down upon the most out of anyone... But this doesn't fit that, at least after the trial.
Myself and my fellow Marshals definitely had a "what the frick was he thinking??!?!" kind of discussion after the first video. We're all wondering where the prosecution's proof was during/after the trial, because they damn sure didn't prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt like they're supposed to. And us law enforcement officers tend to side with the prosecution, obviously.
Was Chauvin slightly negligent and way too caught up in the moment? I think that's an absolute. Should Chauvin face the consequences of being an officer held to a higher standard and failing to do so? Sure.
But you're crazy biased if you think this fits 'murder' in ANY way. I've arrested *actual* murderers, cold blooded child and woman killers that had zero regard for human life and even THEY had more fair trials and less media/public condemnation than Chauvin. It's fricked up.

begging for air,
It’s been a while since my CPR training, but if a person is saying they can’t breathe coherently, then they can and you are not to administer CPR.

Tell Derek Chauvin that. It will make him feel so much better.

he had some panic over being arrested, thats not rocket surgery and it is not an excuse to commit murder. its like if grandma was struggling to breath so you took a knee on her upper back/neck region. you would catch a charge. If your argument is that GF was in bad shape already then DC's actions are even more unreasonable and egregious.
what are your thoughts on chauvin being proven guilty of murder beyond reasonable doubt?

I can vouch for that, unless there is another US Marshal with an Arkansas screen name on this site.
I think your assessment is fair and reasonable. I didn't think murder was an applicable charge after watching the videos made public. I didn't watch the trial so have no opinion on the how it played out, but I can watch the video and see the actions of Chauvin are NOT what we should expect out of law enforcement.

...it must have been a long time because you do CPR for blood circulation. Its not for breathing

Should we also expect more of the citizenry?
Just a one way street?

there is timestamped footage of his partners asking DC to to de-escalate his restraint at least twice I believe. He disregarded his partner's concerns while being aware GF was unresponsive, not breathing, and pulseless for minutes. pretty damning.

why was this trail even held in Minneapolis? This is a modern day lynching.

Interesting theory. I guess I’ll write them to remove the cpr section on performing on someone when they’ve stopped breathing.
