YES. Jury can stay until as late as they want tonight

I'd be collecting per diem and scam from work.

I heard CourtTV said the jury works until 10pm

Sorry to be that guy but i avoid the news these days. I obviously know about the case but not the trial.
Do most people think he's going to be found guilty?
Is it just a matter of murder vs manslaughter?

That whole damn panel did their own trial

He will be found guilty of manslaughter. Not murder.
In reality he's innocent of both. But America doesn't care about truth or facts anymore. All emotion and victimhood.

I unfortunately agree with this. They’ll do this to try and appease the mob and prevent the riots, but it won’t be enough and there will be chaos in some cities

I’ll put it this way: this time last month I thought this was textbook 3rd degree murder. If you asked me last year if kneeing a guy in the throat for 8 and a half minutes would kill someone, I’d say “Of course that’d kill someone.” But it actually seems as if he did the hold correctly and went more for his shoulder, his trachea wasn’t collapsed, he had a blood clot clogging up 75% of an artery, there were no bruises on his neck, he had three times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system, and carbon monoxide coming out of the exhaust with all this can make it lethal as well and Chauven had no way of knowing that. With all this, I think it’s very likely regardless if he ran into Chauven that George Floyd would probably be dead by the end of the day. The defense established reasonable doubt as far as I’m concerned.

CBS just said that even though the jury is “sequestered”, they still have their phones.
So not really sequestered if this is one of the rare occasions CBS is actually being truthful.

If they come back with a verdict today, he is cooked.
The only way it is a hung jury is if deliberations go on for days. He will not be acquitted, you can forget that because there were guilty votes locked in before the trial even started.

but what if the jurors listened to the testimonies and evidence presented objectively and after being enlightened by facts, had a change of opinion?

Would be great if zuckerberg and Dorsey would shut them out of their accounts. As a prophylaxis.

I thought the same thing about Zimmerman, but that wasn't the case.
I've never served on a jury before, but I guess it depends on how firm people are in their beliefs. I think its easier to remain firm when you are holding firm on principle, than remaining firm when you are holding firm on ideology.

From what I saw I felt the defense shredded the prosecution in closing, but i am probably biased because I have been saying since the day this happened that Chauvin shouldnt be charged.
Unfortunately there is going to be a horrible miscarriage of justice, due to the mob, and Chauvin will get the max. I predict the jury will have a verdict by end of the night.
