Court TV back to " powerful witness " though you can tell they are worried that Nelson didn't object much and fear his cross.

Let a Black Lives Matter activist kneel on Chauvin's neck.
If Chauvin dies, then kneeling on the neck killed someone with no drugs in his system. Therefore Chauvin is guilty and the outcome is an eye for an eye.
If Chauvin survives, then a smaller neck and larger kneeler still wasn't enough to kill someone. Therefore it was the drugs and Chauvin walks.
Dibs on being the guy who calls the BLM guy a pussy arse bitch in this scenario

The sig other says, basically both sides review qualifications and ask you questions. The judge will ask questions and then decide if you are qualified to give your opinion to the court. Also, the defense will always object.
Thats the short version.
Thats the short version.

I wouldn't be surprised if from here on that they make all future witnesses for the prosecution put their left hand on his "bible on breathing", and to swear or affirm to tell the truth.
If what this guy says is true, there would have been a lot more deaths contributed to this control maneuver and it would have been outlawed years ago. There were over 200 known instances of cops putting their knee on the neck to control, so if what this guy says is true, and a knee to the back of the neck can stop your breathing, why aren’t there more deaths?

sort of supports what I'm saying, doubt jurors put a lot of weight into it, in some technical fields might not even understand it, sort of fluff/filler, imo, juries seem to think they have a bond with the judge and tend to be swayed by them whenever there's a big issue

honestly don't know who makes that call, whenever I see an "expert witness" in my field(and I am considered to be one,) in the media, and I know the background, maybe even know the person, I cringe at some of the crap that comes out of their sewer pipes, yet the public eats it up as if it's gospel because they're the "expert"
Reminds me of the "gun expert" Fox news brought on one time talking about the lethality of rifle scopes. She said anyone could pick one up at any corner drug store

Yes, took a sip of water and said "Cheers, like we're in Ireland" or something like that
Drew laughs (not sure if from the jury or from others in the room)

9 days in and still fail to see even a hint that he won't be found NOT GUILTY. He's been all downhill since the wanker Speedway clerk was forced to narrate to surveillance camera footage.

Doesnt the court decide who qualifies as and expert and who doesnt?
Yes, the judge is the gatekeeper for expert testimony. Lawyers can challenge the qualifications of experts and the soundness of their opinions pre-trial via motion. Different courts and judges do it differently, but there is typically a pre-trial hearing, which can include live testimony from the proffered expert.
