No, he shouldn't. This is pertinent to the prosecution's claim Chauvin kneeling on Floyd is what killed him. He's showing that there were a multitude of other factors involved, to include the effects of fentanyl ingestion.

I’m behind so I haven’t gotten to the cross yet, but this doctor’s testimony is full of bullshite. He’s very good at making it sound like his conclusions are based in science but he is completely full of shite. I’m saying this as someone who has a medical degree just like he does.

What a disaster this cross-examination is. Very hard to follow and every time Nelson tries to make a point the witness refutes him with very credibly sounding science jargo

Yea, but this guy won’t agree with Nelson. Continuing to try and get him to say it, and not getting him to say it, makes it come across as important to the defense for him to say it.

Dr agreed that’s you would expect peak to be 5 mins after ingestion...so, “hypothetically” at 20:23
I say hypothetically, because the judge stated this line of question had to be asked that way, as no proof was shown if/when/how much of the pills GF “ingested”

Nelson is just trying to discredit him and all of sudden the doctor has poor hearing and recall. Plus, Nelson pointed out in the very beginning the Dr is doing this for free because he is woke.

Thanks. My meeting ended early so I was getting to catch a bit of the cross and then the feed cut out. I appreciate the update.

The feed is meaningless. People watching the feed won't be deciding the case. The judge and jury will, and they're not reliant on a feed.

Best point Nelson made the whole cross was when he tried to imply the witness was biased and had an agenda based off his agreement to do the work for free and previous meetings with the prosecution. Rest was a total disaster
