Yeah when I was a firefighter, any time 911 received a medical call, FD and the local EMT service was dispatched. Whoever arrived first would administer care and the EMT service would transport. They were basically a taxi service of ambulances.
My FD had previously run ambulances, but had so much trouble getting payment from patients that we just stopped running them because it was such a drain on the city's taxpayers.
Lots of people don't realize that the majority of EMT services are privately owned companies and aren't set up the same as a city's police and fire departments.

We may get to see her maskless. She's probably part of the team and could take an aspect of the defense. That's assuming she's counsel and not paralegal.

I'd rather walk to the ER than be transported by some of them.

Pretty sure she works for the court, possibly a court reporter, that ensures the audio feeds are working properly during the sidebars
