DWI taskforce? They’ve been known to work up to 208 hours in a week.

I know several who make 100k+ on off duty details. At 45-60 an hour it basically takes you working an 8 hour detail after every 8 hour shift. Many do this, especially if one can hustle a detail where you sit in your car and watch movies the entire time.

I had a group od friends that had a state building construction site and had to man the front 24 hours per day for the 4 years it took to build with contractor paying 55 an hour.

The IRS is a weapon of political power. Obama used it against Republicans

If you're going to try to skate by in life it's best not to draw attention to yourself doing things that will shine a spotlight on you.

Considering everything that’s coming out, this man was probably stressed and prob should’ve not been out enforcing laws. He was angry at himself and the world knowing he was a criminal.
If you used liberal logic you’d say because of that he should be excused for his actions.

From 2014-2017 I never filed taxes. I paid them mostly but never filed because I knew I’d owe and I was having trouble meeting bills as is at that time. I ended up filing everything with 2018 return and paid close to $50,000 in back taxes over a 6 month period.

Wut? Must’ve got a helluva raise in 2018 to go from not being able to pay taxes to back paying 4 years worth

My guess is he was working side gigs he was getting 1099s for and not reporting those.

This is a brilliant move. Guess who else gets a copy of those 1099s.

Looks to me like they know he is going to beat the charges in the Floyd death and this is their fall back position. Worked on Al Capone.

As I read the article it wasn’t the IRS (the Feds) that audited him or are charging him. It’s the state for failing to pay the state taxes on this income. IRS is probably coming next. But this was all initiated by the state dept of revenue/state prosecutors.

I wonder why the democrat police chief, the democrat mayor, the democratic governor, or the previous democrat president didn't fix that problem. Three years ago Tim Chauvin had nothing but democrats above him. Today it's everyone but the president.

Has anything more come out about Chauvin being involved in some shady business involving the club that him and Floyd both worked at some? I remember seeing a lot of talk about that a month or so ago. Thought I saw he owns multiple homes too? Something ain’t right
