Yes it is - I drive it mostly at night and usually have my brights on
I mean I can’t see well at night but I don’t use brights down Burbank
The bigger issue here is the lack of lighting & upkeep of lights all over the city. I’ve been saying for a while that the city doesn’t have adequate lighting.

If there’s no opposing traffic you should use your brights at night.

How do you know there wasn’t opposing traffic?

Not in the curve by the soccer fields? Between Staring and Ben Hur is pretty dark, and then again between Lee until those apartments before the Sonic
There was a dead deer someone had hit on Burbank last Wednesday - close to Rouse’s - I was passing around 7AM so it had to have been hit earlier

If it's foggy, raining, misting, brights don't help.

I don’t, I said IF in response, as in general.

Lol ok, just kinda thought that’s the way this was going since ppl want to string up and innocent Uber driver. If you want everyone to be extra safe, 10-2 like someone said earlier, might as well throw on your brights. Cheers

I'm of course not in this situation BUT if I was, I'm not so sure that I'd try to sue the Uber driver.

The blame and focus on the person who hit Madi is a waste of energy and misplaced anger
It’s a diversion.
More blame on the Uber driver = less blame on the rapists.

the only thing we know is there was one media written report that mentioned it raining when cpr was given. We don't know the validity of the report or any details at the time of the uber crashing into a human standing in the middle of the road.

At night, its dark, she's wearing dark clothes and people are so fricking stupid in this thread trying to deflect blame.

My vision at night isn't as good as it once was but I have ridden with plenty of people who don't even need glasses and don't see well at night. Some in this thread act like they are never distracted and always have their eyes focused on the road when driving

Look, if this is how you get your rocks off, that's fine, but whoever was driving that Uber is a real person who has not been charged with any criminal act and was unlucky enough to be on the road at the same time as the rape victim.
That's a real person.
I guess it's not quite as bad as slut-shaming or defending a serial rapist, but it's still bullshite. And it's all so you can just say "it's the driver's fault also".
And you started this line of bullshite on page 7.
But it's okay. We're back on track. Let's keep talking about the crime of maybe, potentially, possibly speeding on a road where a rape victim was kicked out of a car.

Does anyone have any information on the Madison Brooks Foundation? I want to make a donation.
And I challenge each and every one of you jackasses to do the same.
